GoUpWP

Terms of service

The contract for using GoUpWP and buying our digital products.

Effective and last updated: 21 September 2026 · Governed from London, United Kingdom

These terms apply when you browse GoUpWP, create an account, buy a plugin, use a licence key, download an update, or contact support. They form a contract between you and GoUpWP, a business based at London, United Kingdom. Contact us at legal@goupwp.com.

1. Who may use GoUpWP

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. If you buy for a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind it. Keep your account credentials secure and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.

2. Products, prices and orders

Each product page states the plugin’s main features, compatibility, licence term, site allowance, price and currency. Prices and any applicable taxes are shown before you approve payment. PayPal processes payments; we do not receive your full card or bank details.

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when PayPal confirms payment and we make the licence and download available. We may reject or refund an order where there is an obvious pricing error, suspected fraud, a sanctions concern, or we cannot supply the product.

3. Digital delivery and consumer cancellation

Plugins are digital content supplied online. At checkout you may ask us to provide access immediately. If you are a UK consumer, the normal 14-day cancellation right for digital content ends once supply begins after you have expressly consented and acknowledged that consequence. This does not affect rights you have when digital content is faulty, misdescribed or not supplied with reasonable care and skill. See our refund and cancellation policy.

4. Licence, updates and support

Use of plugin code is governed by our software licence. A purchase provides one production-site activation unless the product page states otherwise. Active fixed-term access includes downloads, updates and support for the relevant term. A lifetime purchase includes those benefits for the supported lifetime of that product, not the lifetime of a person, company, WordPress or the internet.

When fixed-term access ends, the installed version is not remotely disabled. New downloads, updates and support end. You remain responsible for backups, staging tests, security, compatibility checks and the operation of your website.

5. Acceptable use

You must follow our acceptable use policy. Licence keys, signed download links and account access must not be sold, published, shared outside your organisation or used to evade site limits. We may suspend affected access while investigating misuse, normally after giving notice where reasonably possible.

6. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the website, licence API, downloads and support available, but do not promise uninterrupted operation. Plugin runtime features are designed not to depend on continuous access to our licence service. We may change the service for security, legal, technical or product reasons. Material changes to these terms apply prospectively and will be communicated reasonably before they take effect.

7. Intellectual property

GoUpWP branding, website content, documentation and service software remain ours or our licensors’ property. WordPress plugin code is supplied under the open-source terms stated in the package. Nothing in these terms transfers our trade marks or permits misleading endorsement.

8. Liability

Nothing excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights. For consumers, we are responsible for reasonably foreseeable loss caused by our breach, but not business loss. If defective digital content supplied by us damages your device or other digital content because we failed to use reasonable care and skill, you may have a statutory remedy.

If you use GoUpWP for business, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, anticipated savings or data. Subject to liabilities that cannot be limited, our total liability arising from a product is limited to the amount you paid for it in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Ending the contract

You may stop using the service at any time and may cancel renewal as described in our subscription policy. We may end or suspend the contract for a material breach, unlawful use, non-payment or a security risk. Where the breach can be fixed, we will normally give a reasonable opportunity to do so.

10. Complaints, law and courts

Send complaints to support@goupwp.com. We will acknowledge the complaint and aim to give a substantive response within 14 days. We do not currently commit to a particular alternative dispute resolution provider.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, but if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK you may also bring proceedings in your local courts and retain any mandatory protections of your home jurisdiction.
