This licence applies to GoUpWP plugin packages and works alongside the open-source licence stated in each package. If a package identifies a different licence for a component, that component’s stated terms apply.
1. Plugin code
GoUpWP WordPress plugin code is distributed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later (GPL). You may use, study, modify and redistribute GPL-covered code under the GPL. Nothing here removes rights granted by the GPL.
2. Commercial access
Your purchase provides a personal licence key and commercial access to GoUpWP-hosted downloads, automatic updates and support for the purchased term. Unless the product page says otherwise, one key may be actively connected to one production website. A staging allowance is provided only where the product or account states one.
3. Fixed-term and lifetime access
Annual access lasts for each paid annual period and renews until cancelled. Two-year access is prepaid and does not renew automatically. Lifetime access does not expire while GoUpWP continues to maintain and distribute that product. “Lifetime” does not promise maintenance for the lifetime of any person, company, platform or website.
4. After access ends
The version already installed on your site is not remotely disabled when commercial access ends. You lose access to new downloads, updates and support, and an old version may later become incompatible or insecure. You are responsible for keeping suitable backups and deciding whether continued use is safe.
5. Licence keys and service integrity
Do not publish, sell or share a licence key, signed download link or customer account; automate bulk downloads; bypass activation limits; interfere with the licence or update service; or falsely present modified code as an official GoUpWP release. These service-access restrictions do not restrict lawful exercise of GPL rights in code you have received.
6. Third-party software and compatibility
WordPress, WooCommerce, PayPal and other dependencies are third-party products governed by their own terms. Compatibility statements apply to the versions and environments identified on the product page. Test updates on staging and keep recoverable backups before changing a live site.
7. Warranty and support
We will use reasonable care and skill in providing paid support and will honour mandatory rights relating to digital content. Open-source code remains subject to the warranty disclaimers permitted by its licence, but those disclaimers do not remove rights that UK consumer law says cannot be excluded.
