Subscription policy

How annual renewals, cancellation and access work.

Effective and last updated: 21 September 2026 · Governed from London, United Kingdom

This policy explains the recurring annual option. Two-year and lifetime licences are one-time purchases and do not renew automatically.

1. Starting a subscription

The product and checkout pages show the plugin, annual price, currency and one-site allowance before you continue to PayPal. PayPal asks you to approve the recurring payment. Access begins only after payment is confirmed.

2. Renewal

An annual subscription renews every year until cancelled. The amount approved in PayPal remains the recurring amount unless you expressly agree to a change. Any taxes required at the time of payment may affect the total. PayPal may send payment notices under your PayPal settings.

3. Cancellation

You may cancel future renewal at any time from the billing section of your GoUpWP account or through PayPal. There is no cancellation fee. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period, so updates, downloads and support remain available until then. We acknowledge account cancellation on screen and through the service record.

4. Failed payments and grace period

If renewal fails, we may place the subscription in a past-due state and allow a 7-day grace period. We may ask you to update payment details in PayPal. If payment is not resolved, hosted downloads, updates and support end after the grace period. The installed plugin keeps working at its current version.

5. Refunds

Renewal and first-payment refund requests are handled under our refund and cancellation policy. Cancelling renewal alone does not automatically refund a payment already made.

6. Product retirement

If we retire a paid product, we will give reasonable notice where possible and stop future annual renewals. We will provide a fair remedy for any unused paid period where required. Installed copies are not remotely removed.
