This policy applies to GoUpWP digital plugin purchases. It adds a voluntary promise to your legal rights; it does not replace or limit rights that cannot be excluded under UK consumer law.
1. Fourteen-day voluntary refund promise
You may request a refund of your first purchase of a particular plugin within 14 days after payment. Tell us the order email, plugin and reason at support@goupwp.com. We may first offer practical help, but accepting support is not a condition of a valid request.
The voluntary promise does not cover repeat purchases after a previous refund, deliberate abuse, or an account suspended for unlawful redistribution or chargeback fraud. Those exclusions do not affect mandatory statutory remedies.
2. Digital-content cancellation right
Before purchase, we ask for express consent to supply the plugin immediately and acknowledgement that the statutory 14-day cancellation right is lost when supply begins. If you do not give that consent, we do not start checkout. Our separate voluntary promise above still applies.
3. Renewals
Annual plans renew through PayPal. You can cancel future renewal from your GoUpWP account. For a renewal payment, contact us within 14 days. We will normally refund it under our voluntary promise if no download, update or licence activation has been used since renewal. If it has been used, we will assess the circumstances fairly and any statutory rights still apply.
4. Faulty or misdescribed digital content
If a plugin is faulty, not as described or not of satisfactory quality, contact us with enough detail to reproduce the issue. UK consumers may be entitled to repair or replacement and, where the legal conditions are met, a price reduction or refund. We will not reject a valid statutory claim merely because the voluntary 14-day period has passed.
5. Compatibility and change of mind
Check the product page’s stated WordPress, PHP and WooCommerce requirements before buying. If the published compatibility information was materially wrong, we will treat that as a product issue. A change of mind is covered only by the voluntary promise or an applicable statutory cancellation right.
6. Processing a refund
Approved refunds are sent to the original payment method without a fee and normally within 14 days after approval. PayPal and banks may take additional time to display the credit. Refunded access may be revoked, including future downloads, updates, support and the related licence key; the installed code is not remotely deleted.
7. Chargebacks
Please contact us before opening a payment dispute so we can investigate quickly. This does not prevent you from using any card, PayPal or legal remedy available to you.
